i am a caregiver i provided a home, love and support to a lady with ID/MR on many fronts i feel alone because i dont have any one to help me plan meals, think things through, yes there is the social local govenment supports but for real they are only there if it is an incident to prevent accidents. so i have taken matters in my own hands(once again) looking for supports and one thing i am doing this month is going to a support group that just stared last year in my area; i am not going just to listen but i am going to make my voice be heard because if i am not healthy my friend will not get the best care that she desire. oh yea in january i started to walk 5 mins on treadmill and take swimming classes.
so i say to all if you think you are alone then do something to change your thinking-surroundings dont be afraid because the people that we take care of want to and need to see us happy for the betterment of us all---may God truly provide the wisdom!
